Where server-icon.png goes

Then restart the server. The file must be called server-icon.png and be exactly 64×64 pixels.
How to use it
- Pick a background: a colour, a gradient or a pixel pattern.
- Add letters or a pixel picture, or upload your own picture.
- Download server-icon.png.
- Put it in your server's main folder, next to server.properties, and restart the server.
Questions and answers
Where does server-icon.png go?
In the server's main folder, next to server.properties. On a network with a proxy (Velocity, BungeeCord), the proxy decides the icon players see: put it in the proxy's folder or set it in its config. Restart after adding it.
What size must the icon be?
Exactly 64×64 pixels, saved as PNG. The file name must be server-icon.png, all lower case.
Why doesn't my icon show?
Usually the file name or size is wrong, or the server wasn't restarted. Players may need to refresh their server list to see the new one.
How does the icon get onto CraftVote?
Your listing's icon comes from your server itself. Once the server shows the new icon, CraftVote picks it up at its next regular check, within a few minutes.
Do Bedrock servers have an icon?
No. The Bedrock server list shows no server icons, so this is for Java servers.
