How the ranking works
Servers are ranked by the votes they got this month. What counts, how ties are decided and what happens on the 1st.
The list is ranked by votes this month: the server with the most votes since the 1st is number 1. A vote moves the ranking within a few seconds.
- Same number of votes? The server that is online comes first, then the one with more players, then better uptime, then the older listing.
- On the 1st of each month (00:00 UTC) every server starts again at 0. The final rank and votes of the month that ended are saved and shown under “Past months” on the server's page.
- Filtered lists (a gamemode, a version, a country) rank the servers inside that filter.
- Hidden and removed servers have no rank.
Fair votes only
Each person can vote once a day per server. Votes that break the voting rules — bots, bought votes, votes through VPNs or proxies — can be removed by our team, and the server's count goes down with them.
Rewarding your players in the game for voting is fine. That is what Votifier is for.
